End Of Week Deals

  • SimplyCash Business from American Express is offering 300 bucks if you spend $3,000 in 3 months. The card is still good for 5% back at office stores and 3% from the category of your choice.
  • A few of you are getting personalized offers for 50,000 points for the Hyatt card. In short, my answer to those guys was, “Good deal.” A lot more ways to stretch the points out than with the normal 2 free night offer. Both options are solid, but I’d prefer the points.
  • Shoppers can get 5% on purchases shipped from Amazon (when Amazon is the seller). Yeah, it’s time to add Giving Assistant to my list of portals.
  • I didn’t need another reason to go to Vegas, but here’s a decent amount of bonus IHG points to stay at the Venetian or Palazzo this year.

Delta Business Too

Chris has basically taken over the blog this week. Third post in a row because of him, which is a first. What does one do in a situation like this?

A. Send him a dozen roses?
B. Name a star after him?
C. Tell him he completes me?
D. Change the blog name to ChrisNerd?

While I ponder this important decision, you can go here for the Business link to the Delta card. Just like yesterday’s Personal version, it’s good for 50,000 miles after spending $2,000 in 3 months.

Delta 50,000 Offer

Another day, another increased bonus email from Chris…

Delta’s Gold card has been 30,000 miles for a while. Certain people who applied in an incognito window were able to find 50,000.

Well now it’s 50k for everyone            .

For the moment.

Again.

Delta.

Hawaiian Card

Thanks Chris for sending this link to the (back again) offer for 50,000 miles on the Hawaiian Airlines card. It had been stuck at 35,000 for a while. Not the best card in the world, but it’s a lot better than it was last week. Plus, of course, anything Hawaiian makes me smile.

Catching Up With Some Freebies

  • 150 Starwood points for changing your security questions. Takes a minute tops.
  • 200 Starwood points are still around for those who haven’t changed their email preference yet. I’d say 30 seconds for this one.
  • 300 LaQuinta points in maybe ten seconds. I feel like I’ve posted this a few times but a bunch of you sent it. Maybe this is a new version. Or maybe I’m losing my mind.
