Adding to the American Airlines offers from yesterday. I’ve gotten 2 letters mailed to me this week from Citibank. They both asked me to go to offer.citibank.com and enter a code. One code was CYFJ and the other was CYFK. For the Citigold offer, they offered 30,000 miles if I spend $750 on my debit card in the first 60 days.
This isn’t my first rodeo with Citibank. I’ve had checking accounts with them 3 different times to collect miles. I’ve never had to pay taxes on the miles as some people report. I spend the money and close the accounts as soon as I receive my miles. Because I deposit a decent amount of cash, I haven’t had to pay monthly fees.
