My up-and-down commentary about Rocketmiles is on an upswing again. Why? Because 5,000 Southwest points for a first booking is pretty strong. I don’t remember seeing any offers above 3,000 miles/points before. The only catch here is that you need to use a Southwest credit card to book the room.
