- Sign up for RocketMiles.
- Get 1,000 free miles for the 10 seconds it takes you to sign up.
- Have friends/family sign up by Friday. They should be eager since they get free miles too.
- You’ll earn 2,000 miles for each signup through your link by Friday. If you have lots of friends/family, these miles will add up fast.
- The miles stay in your account until a completed stay. Then they can be transferred to Alaska, American, United, or 8 other airlines.
I’ve talked with the RocketMiles people a few times. Honestly, I don’t have anything negative to say about them. Disappointing I know, but they’re honest guys and seem good at what they do. I’d love to give you some drama, but I think their business will keep growing. RocketMiles can definitely be a good option when you need to stay in a hotel and can’t use points or find a good Priceline bid price. MileNerd out!
Edit: I got an email from reader David, so please take note of this. To be honest, this is totally my fault. I skimmed through the details and just didn’t pay enough attention. I haven’t booked my first RocketMiles stay yet, so I misunderstood how this promo worked. I still like the people there, but this deal is a lot less exciting than I thought it was. Sorry guys…sloppy writing by me. David’s email is below.
But this post is really a stinker….. “The miles stay in your account until a completed stay.” That’s some serious poor use of the passive voice. It sounds like you get the miles when YOU complete a stay. In fact, you don’t get the miles unless the people you refer complete a stay. Big difference and one worth being clearer about.
I followed your advice to have friends/family sign up by Friday. I wasted their time and mine. I still love ya man…. But this post. Not so much.
