What happened with my Hilton status match? Well, I emailed them proof of my IHG Platinum status (which everyone with the credit card has) and was matched to Diamond within 24 hours. So for the first time in the history of man, Hilton did something well. They were a well-oiled machine while Hyatt was a disorganized, frustrating, inconsistent joke. What a weird turn of events.
