New Ink Card

I’m sure it’s obvious by now, but the Ink Plus has been one of my favorite credit cards for a while. Well, Chase just replaced the application page on their website with the new Ink Business Preferred. You won’t see 5 points per dollar at office stores, but you will find a strong bonus of 80,000 points. Personally, I’d happily take it but apply for too many cards to get approved. Oh Chase…

 

Etihad Status Offer

Man, we’re on a hot streak with status stuff over the last few days. This is an interesting one from British reader Nitin. Register here if you’re going to book an Etihad flight in the next 6 months. Looks like it just takes one flight to get the status. Make sure to enroll in the next 10 days.

End Of Week Deals

  • The Hertz deal worked out for a lot of you guys, so let’s see about this one. Reader “Trumpocalypse” says this works for Platinum status with Sixt if you enter your Delta SkyMiles number. There was another link for Platinum last year, but pretty sure that’s long gone now.
  • JetBlue was probably my favorite airline of the year. Getting 75,000 points for 50 bucks was definitely a highlight of 2016. Now, if you book an award flight by Monday, you get 15% of your points back. Make it 25% if you have their credit card.
  • A few of you pointed out a website called AwardAce. It’s one option if you’re trying to get an idea of how many miles a flight could take. Others I’m aware of are AwardHacker, AwardNexus, and PointsForTrips. I don’t use any of them personally so no recommendations on this one.

Can’t say I know too much about Best Western. Not even sure I’ve stayed at one before. So thanks to reader Valerie for sharing their status match page. Considering they call it a “No Catch” match, I’d assume (and hope) it’s pretty hassle-free.
