  • With their usual back and forth, Uber copied Lyft’s New York City deal and is now offering 50% off through Monday. You can get half off (up to 25 bucks) on two rides with code MDWNYC50. 
  • See if you’re targeted for any promos from United. I wasn’t, but a bunch of you emailed your different offers.
  • 50 American miles per dollar spent at Magazines.com is back. This one comes and goes and, obviously, you can rack up a good amount at this rate.

Annual Flight Deal Reminder

Banks are tougher with credit cards. Airline miles keep devaluing. Anyone who doesn’t see that the game has changed is blind, new, or dumb.

So this is my annual-ish reminder that you should be keeping up daily with The Flight Deal. Frankly, if you haven’t paid for any flights the last few years, that’s going to change. Some of you got in on a great $400 round-trip to Paris yesterday. Might as well know about those non-mile deals too if you’re going to pull out the wallet.

100% Bonus Buying United Miles

Through Friday, get double the United miles if you buy at least 40,000 of them. Blasphemous for some but makes mathematical sense for others. Under 2 cents per mile isn’t a bad deal at all if you are in the market for this.
