Thursday Triple

  • Grab an easy 250 Virgin America points. And a possible trip to Hawaii while you’re at it.
  • Virgin America is also now a good transfer option to have for your Starwood points. You’ll get the usual 5,000 bonus miles for each block of 20,000 points you transfer.
  • Thanks to Sheila for sending 2 under-the-radar freebies – 5,000 Icelandair points and this from Etihad.

Silvercar Existing User Deal

I’ve been getting more rental car questions lately and always answer that my loyalty tends to be with National. Plus a not-so-gentle reminder that all you guys should have Executive status (because it was posted here) which makes a giant difference.

Anyway, I’ve also been impressed by Silvercar every time I deal with them. They’re offering 20% off for rentals the rest of the month for existing users with code SPRING20. Worth giving them a shot if you need a car in one of their cities.  And again, if you’re in the 1% of people who haven’t used Uber, get $30 off with your Chase card.

Tuesday Triple

  • Another good IHG promo is here. As usual, it won’t take more than a few seconds to fill out your information and register.
  • A few of you reached out that JetBlue is offering 5,000 points for every flight. Sounds like a good one, especially for those short flights that don’t cost much.
  • Decent bonus if you buy United miles in the next couple weeks. The more you buy, the better the deal.

Wyndham Nights For $150

I used to talk a lot about the annual Daily Getaways deals. Not so much these last couple of years, because, well…the deals started to suck. But there’s still a handful of good ones and today is worth looking at.

At 1:00 EST, you can buy 15,000 Wyndham points for $150. As many of you know, 15,000 points is the exact number it takes to book a night at any of their properties. So, if you’re looking at a weekend at one the more expensive Wyndham hotels (like South Beach), then it might be worth buying a couple of these.

InterContinental Card Link

This IHG card is probably the most underrated one in my collection. The status that comes with it is actually useful, the anniversary night includes good properties, and the $49 annual fee is cheaper than most. Here’s a new link for a bonus of 75,000 points if you spend $2,000 in 3 months and add a user. Have a great weekend, nerds!
