- 500 free Lufthansa miles for signing up for a newsletter here. The lesson, as always…free doesn’t suck.
- A 50,000-point offer for the Amex Business Gold card isn’t new. This has been around for a while, but there is a lower spend now. And don’t forget about the possible 75,000 points.
- Free Uber rides and passes to a movie screening of in select cities. It looks like a good one. But I’m wrong about that all the time (see: The Gambler).
Turbo Tax Points Or Cash
For all who use Turbo Tax to file/prepare your taxes, pick up either 1,000 Southwest points or $20. If I remember correctly, there were higher point offers last year. Let me know if I missed something and I’ll update this post. Just make sure you pay those taxes if you want to keep avoiding all the hardened criminals in the joint…
End Of Week Rundown
- 25 free Hertz points to avoid the dreaded “E” word. Hint: it rhymes with hexpiration.
- 500 Virgin points if you (somehow) don’t have an account. Also 100 more for joining PointsHound if you didn’t like yesterday’s deal.
- Companion Pass lovers, you’re good to go. You have a 50,000-point bonus again on the Business card from Southwest. Many of you recently got the Personal card. If not, both are still at 50,000. For those who don’t know what this Companion Pass love is about…it’s the best deal going for domestic travel. Here are a couple old posts about it – Basics and Extras.
- Still have the 100,000-mile American Airlines Executive card from last year? Well, you might be getting another $200 credit. Surprise!
- If you’re rich with points, don’t forget about experiences from Starwood and Delta. I’m seeing some good stuff there, especially for sports fans.
Have a great weekend!
100 Free American Airlines Miles
Get ’em here for signing up for Points Hound. 100 miles in 30 seconds. Easy. Pick up another 2,000 bonus miles if you book a hotel stay before April. I like their competition (RocketMiles) a little better, but free miles are free miles…
