Delta

Lately, I’m hearing from readers every few days about strong redemption options for their SkyDongs. What used to be an oxymoron is suddenly (and strangely) becoming a habit.

Probably the best use yet is 22,000 miles for a round-trip to Europe.

A couple of days earlier, it was 40,000 for trips to China.

I’ll keep posting some of the better options. If you’re actively looking for even more ways to use this currency, SlickDeals/Flyertalk are overflowing lately. Even playing around on the Delta website for a few minutes seems to be yielding good stuff for people these days. Apparently, it’s a good time to have dongs.

United Million

As much as I try to avoid posting contests, I couldn’t resist this one. Totally my style of thing (creative, talking about an all-time favorite memory, artsy, etc).

Ok, fine…my style is a little “girly.”

I’m a total man in other ways…and when I think of an example, I’ll let you know what it is.

Are romantic comedies manly?

Anyway, the contest is worth a million United miles.

Motley Fool

If I were a rapper, I’d start a song with…

“I’m takin’ chumps to school like Mr. T pities the fool.”

(The only thing I’m actually taking to school right now is a chicken caesar salad)

Well, it’s suddenly very clear that I should never attempt to rhyme again. So…

Thanks to reader Mike for sharing this Motley Fool deal. Looks like either:

Check the terms but, according to Mike, this can be done for $19 and cancelled after 45 days. If you’re not in a rush, the bonuses seem to fluctuate. Apparently, American was recently up to 7,400 miles. Keep an eye on the links if interested.

Requests

Without getting emotional (there will be time for that), I should mention a certain logistical fact…

We’re getting down to the last few months.

So, if there are any posts you’d like to see me write…please let me know soon.

In short: last call for requests.

Just wanted to slip that quick reminder in.

Have a great weekend, nerds!

One Of Each

Thumbs Up:
For those still using Rocketmiles, you now have the option of earning American Express Membership Rewards points there. Not for everyone, but it will come in handy for some of you.

Thumbs Down:
After a glorious 3 weeks of improved suckage, the British Airways website is back to driving people insane again. Multiple readers are reporting similar nonsense as the stuff I mentioned in May. Phone support there is…questionable.
