  • Lebron James is to Michael Jordan as Tim Allen is to Tom Hanks. There is no debate.
  • The new nervous twitch? Staring at an iPhone. Will the earth stay populated if no two humans ever make eye contact again?

Rapid-fire time…

  • There’s nothing as predictable as death and taxes. Except Southwest and JetBlue sales.
  • IHG has a 15 to 30% off sale going in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. It’s up to 50% for Europe.
  • Save some Delta SkyDongs to London (their domestic deal is still going too). I like these promos. It’s so nice to see dongs going a little further these days.
  • For me, Starwood’s Pay Your Birth Year promo is much like a Martin Lawrence movie. Not that good, but I get strangely excited whenever I see it.
  • The Capital One Spark credit card bonus is up to $1,000. Good money if spending $10,000 isn’t an issue.

Tuesday Triple

  • Call right at 11:00 AM CST to have a good shot at an $11 room at the Conrad Chicago.
  • Spend a buck, get 1,000 United miles, and a Wall Street Journal subscription. Just make sure to cancel after 45 days.
  • Total Rewards and Wyndham platinum status is available as a thank you to members of the military if you can show up in person.

Airline Promos

  • Register here, book a flight with JetBlue points by tomorrow, and get 15% of them back. Will I take advantage? Come on. Is the sky blue? Is Harvey Weinstein’s career over? Is it annoying when people use the word “bae”? Of course I’m taking advantage.
  • Register here for up to 50,000 bonus American miles for going through their list of activities. At the link, scroll down to “General” and “Earning bonus miles” for the specifics. I’m passing on this one.
  • Save some SkyDongs if you have a Delta domestic flight to book. This one is a solid “maybe.”
