United Club Passes

Thanks to the great response to a recent post, I’m ready to start this year’s giveaways. I’ll space them out (for no real reason other than it worked well last year). First up? 17 United lounge passes – two expire in November and the rest have 2018 expiration dates.

SPG Resort Discount

If you’re a hotel snob with a pile of Starwood points, this one is for you. Use fewer points at some of the best SPG properties in the world (Maldives, Bora Bora, etc.). You do still get the 5th night free, by the way. It’s a solid deal for those with expensive taste.

LifeMiles Transfer Bonus

It appears this is the week for transfers. This deal isn’t going to be for everyone, but Avianca LifeMiles has a 100% bonus when you transfer miles through July 25th. Obviously you’ll need some of these miles already with a recipient in mind. Probably best for people who are trying to combine accounts.

Another Transfer Bonus

Here’s a 35% bonus for transferring hotel points to Aeroplan. I can’t remember ever seeing it above 30% before. I’d say the best options worth looking at here are Starwood and Marriott. If you have a pile of either, don’t forget about the travel package option once you’ve got your miles.

Catching Up

A few good deals after my weekend slumber…

  • I liked the new 1-to-1 ratio from Amex to British Airways on Friday. Well, I like it a hell of lot more now that it shows an 40% bonus.
  • If you have any airline status (or a Southwest Companion Pass), try to match it with JetBlue. By far, my favorite benefit is being able to cancel flights without penalty.
  • Confirm your account info and pick up 2,000 easy Qantas points.
  • Reader Kendra reached out because the regular Delta card links are dead. You can still get the bonuses here.
