Start Of Week Deals

Thanks to readers Ali and Jon for sending these over the weekend:

  • Pick up 5,000 bonus Alaska miles for signing up and taking a flight.
  • You can get an extra 10% transferring Citi ThankYou points to Etihad through July 5th.
  • Click here, then try HV2PB and HV2MT when it asks for a promo code. The first is for Platinum with American and the second one is a status fast track. Usually, these are pretty highly targeted, so odds say neither will work. On the other hand, it takes 20 seconds…roll the damn dice.

Virgin Match

Thanks to reader Hope for sharing a status match page on the Virgin Atlantic website. Clearly I’m old with a rapidly fading brain, but I don’t remember seeing a page like this from Virgin before. Take a look at the link and see if anything on the chart works for you. Have a great weekend, nerds!

Membership Rewards Transfer Bonus

Let’s face the facts here…it was only a matter of time before I forgot what day of the week it was.

(awkwardly looking around)

Anyway, on this fine THURSDAY, it’s nice to see another American Express transfer bonus pop up. Through June 21st, we’re looking at an extra 25% with Hawaiian Airlines. Last month’s JetBlue offer was better but I’m just happy to see more of these again from Amex. As a Hawaii lover, I’ve definitely used this currency before and it has come in very handy (especially for island hopping). But I’ll be skipping this one. Now get out there and enjoy your Thursday. Because that’s what day today is.

Tuesday Stuff

  • Spend 3 seconds to register for this Alaska promo and get double miles with partners.
  • Southwest sales aren’t exactly rare. But this one is much better than most. Alaska is a copycat.
  • Contest nerds can also win a trip to Disney World from Southwest or an international flight from Asiana.

Wyndham Status Match

If you have status with either Wyndham or Total Rewards, take advantage of their new partnership with a match here. And if you’ve been debating what to do with your 15,000-for-any-night Wyndham points…some solid new options are about to be possible in Vegas. These are pretty good hotels – Caesar’s Palace, The Cromwell, Nobu, Paris, Rio, Planet Hollywood, etc.
