Let me first say that TV pilots aren’t a sure thing. Even if the money comes through and the show gets made…odds are pretty high it won’t be picked up. That’s just how it goes. On the other hand, every successful show was once a pilot “nobody will ever see.” You never know. So, that being said…
An experienced producer I know (also a loyal reader) is in the early stages of putting a travel show together. I’m not involved because of union conflicts (and a lack of interest in reality TV). But if this sounds like something you might want to audition for, I told them I’d put up a post. Here’s the type of host they want to build the pilot around:
- Over 18 years old.
- Passionate about miles and points.
- Fun and adventurous.
- A frequent traveler.
- Total flexibility to travel in July.
