I’m getting more feedback about increased denials than ever before. Personally, I’m struggling to get approved with Chase more often than in the past too. This seems to be happening for people who are heavy churners. Of course the bonuses are still great, but it doesn’t do much good if you’re not getting approved for cards. Let’s see what happens.
- Bank of America Minor Leagues – People who churn the hell out of the Alaska card have been dealing with more disappointment recently. It looks like card approvals are still going through, but many are for the crappy Platinum Plus version. Weak.
- Gift Card Fraud – I’m getting TONS more stories about this lately. Where I live, gift card fraud has hit me 6 times in the last year. Be very careful, inspect the cards, and drain the money quickly.
