Trustworthy People

I talk to a lot of bloggers, wannabe bloggers, and various other people in this game. Whenever someone has a new venture in mind, there always seems to be one thing that comes up before anything else. Money. Yup, there’s that word again. Now, is it a crime to want to get paid? Of course not. Hating people for making money is just as twisted as being someone who cares for money above anything else. The real issue is when people sell out. They sell out their voice (and sometimes their honesty) for a few bucks. Not good.

As you all know, this blog isn’t my job. Because of that,  I’ve always gotten a lot of credit for being a person worth trusting. To be honest, I deserve that credit. I say what I mean and haven’t sold out. I also like to point out other people I meet when I get impressed by them. Clearly, this doesn’t happen often. I can only think of 2 or 3 similar posts. But today I spoke with Jay from Rocketmiles and it was a pleasure. I felt like he really cared about my opinions and the best interests of his customers. I think their website will continue to grow and I think it’s going to be a big success. Is there anyone who wouldn’t want to earn miles for booking hotels? I highly recommend keeping your eye on Rocketmiles. I think they’re going places.
