It’s definitely back for people who have no issues spending money. Here’s the new offer. 50,000 points for spending $2,000 in the first 90 days. 25,000 more points for spending $10,000 in a year. And 25,000 more if you spend yet another $10,000 in that first year. A lot of spending, but it’s good to have this one back.
50 bucks off a hotel stay of $100 or more here. The only catch is it has to be this month. And before you do that…don’t forget the extra $25 if you haven’t signed up for Orbitz Rewards yet.

I’ve spun many a yarn about my history of non-reservations with Rocketmiles. Well folks, I think the time has finally come.
Why now?
Pretty simple…
American Express is offering a $50 credit if you spend more than $200 at Rocketmiles. As usual, log into your Amex account, find the offer, and save it to your account. You can also tweet #Amexrocketmiles if you’ve set that up.
Between this free 50 bucks and offers like 5,000 United or Southwest miles for first reservations…it’s a good time to book a hotel with Rocketmiles. You should actually be able to combine the Amex offer with 3,000 Virgin America, Alaska, or American miles.
Thanks to reader Doug for letting me know the Southwest Plus offer is back up to 50,000. Just go to the Southwest Premier link and scroll down to where it says “Not the card for you” and click “More.” If you’re going for the Companion Pass, you want to wait another couple months to start the process. The idea, as always, is to earn your 110,000 points very early in a calendar year.
