I got some great emails and Facebook messages from you guys after my status matching posts. A couple people mentioned the website Statusmatcher.com. Somehow I’d never heard of it before, and still can’t totally vouch for it (based on my complete lack of experience with it). It does seem like a pretty good way of researching possible status matches but I’m not totally sure. I’d love some opinions if you try it or have used it before.

Merchandise awards are usually a disastrous use of your miles. Why use 100,000 miles to book a flight worth thousands when you can spend it on a $400 iPad. Ugh. Seeing people use their miles in this way can literally make me feel sick. Miles/points should be used for flights and hotel stays. This is almost always a given.
