My First Uber Experience

Like most of you, I hate taxis. Cab drivers are weird, the cars smell, and it’s never a great experience. Well, I’m happy to say I had an INCREDIBLE first Uber ride last week. I’d heard about it so many times and it was time to give them a shot. Using their app (or a text message), your request a ride, the car shows up quickly, and you don’t worry about cash. Your card is on file and there is no tipping involved. You just get out of the car and go on your way. Oh yeah, my driver was awesome and he was driving a black Cadillac Escalade. Very impressive first Uber ride! I saved $10 for my first time and you can do the same here. David (the driver) said this has all been through word of mouth and they haven’t spent anything on advertising. I told him I was sold…no more taxis for me!

75,000 Amex Points: The Sequel

In case you missed it last week, the 75,000 point offer is back. This is with the typical $10,000 spend, though. Last week was half of that. Same bold print applies from last week’s offer. This is supposed to last until Friday, but we’ll see.
