A bunch of you have reached out about RoomiPay over the last few weeks. Seems simple enough…a new way to pay rent with credit cards. I’m not a fan of Plastiq, so this got my attention. The fee sounded pretty reasonable (2% for most people and zero for some) plus most readers were sharing very positive experiences. Good signs. But I did get a few negative comments along the way and wanted to pass those along too:
I should add that 100% of the feedback about their customer service has been VERY positive. Even from the people who shared issues. For now, I’m giving RoomiPay the benefit of the doubt. It’s a new service and they’re clearly working out a couple of kinks. Not enough to worry me yet. I’ll get tougher with that opinion if they spaz out on anything over the next few months.

In terms of deals, this award sale from Alaska is way better than the one from Delta yesterday. Not surprising at all. And I don’t know if I should put out a special bulletin, but there are JetBlue and Southwest sales today. Woah. THIS. IS. UNBELIEVABLE.
Aaaaand it’s probably a good time to dial down the sarcasm for now.

If booking with Delta by tomorrow, you can save miles on trips to Seattle or Portland. You’ll need to plug in some cities and dates to see what comes up. Unfortunately, I didn’t find much luck with the options I tried. Guess I was…

If you’ve been thinking about a paid flight to Hawaii this year, it’s probably time to turn thinking into clicking. Good deals are being found from multiple cities to multiple islands on multiple airlines. Personally, I like using my Avios points for trips to Hawaii…but that usually requires a LOT of flexibility. I’m seeing some strong deals with this one. Worth checking out. Thanks to reader Colin for regularly reaching out with stuff like this.
