Other Points

Is there a rewards currency that should be getting more attention here?

Are there any other loyalty programs that you find valuable?

These can be travel-related, but they don’t have to be…honestly, anything that comes to mind is ok (grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, casinos, cruise ships, movie theaters, etc). Any points that you consider valuable.

This is for an upcoming post…I just got an email worth sharing, but wanted some additional data. Thanks guys.

Have a great weekend, nerds!

Delta Card Links

Reader Luis was nice enough to send some new working links for Delta:

  • The Gold version (personal and business) is worth 50,000 points.
  • If you don’t mind an annual fee right away, Platinum is worth 70,000 points (personal and business).

I preferred getting 60,000 points for the Gold, but this will definitely get Delta back on the next Top 25 list.

Promo Pair

Here’s a 100% bonus for buying IHG points. Could be good if you have a specific use in mind…but, yes, a small piece of me still dies whenever someone buys points.

And here’s a 35% bonus transferring hotel points to British Airways. Personally, I’d probably only look at Marriott points used in a specific way with that one.

Frontier 90% Off Today

If you like bad airlines, enjoy paying for carry-on bags, hate clear deals, and need to fly in the next 2 months…today’s “90 percent off” Frontier sale might be for you. There are actually good fares in there if you don’t mind wading through some crap.

Ebates Today

They did this last month and it’s back again for today…Ebates is showing 12% cash back at a bunch of stores. Pretty good-sized increase for many of these. If you have any shopping to do, I’d definitely take a look. And check your Amex offers to see if you can combine a deal.
